UPDATE on the MACCraftFair - 5-25-2026

At the most recent Memorial Hall Renovation meeting (5-19-26), Justin Laravee (the town building commissioner) informed us that, because of ongoing renovations, Memorial Hall will be shut down from all public and private use from June 30, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

The 2026 MAC Holiday Craft Fair Committee will continue to plan and concentrate their efforts in relocating the Craft Fair to the Monson Granite Valley School Gymnasium this November, Also, the furnace replacement funds for the House of Art are pending. The HOA is owned by the Town of Monson.

Our partnership with MPS has been very refreshing and we anticipate another successful 2- DAY CRAFT FAIR with ample parking, ADA accessibility, safer crowd traffic management with more space to spread the Holiday Cheer. While we regret forgoing the traditional " Currier and Ives" feel, we will support our Churches, town businesses and work with the Monson Fire Dept to host Santa's anticipatory arrival. We ask for your understanding and support. Our hard-working juried artisans welcome your attendance and will offer special hand-made gifts that make the Monson Arts Council Craft Fair extra unique. Fluid Acrylics Workshop with Alan Morin

We are excited to announce a workshop in “fluid acrylics” led by Alan Morin. In each session, Alan will explore two innovative techniques offering hands-on demonstrations and guidance. Techniques covered include dirty pour, layered pour,chameleon pour, swipe, string drag and Dutch pour. This workshop is perfect for artists of all skill levels interested in expanding their creative repertoire and learning new ways to work with acrylics.
