The Louisiana Delta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. encourages families to make EARLY voting a family tradition. Bring your children and loved ones with you when you vote and show them the importance of civic engagement. Today’s lessons become tomorrow’s leaders.

When we vote, we do more than cast a ballot—we demonstrate that our voices matter and that each generation has a role in building a stronger Louisiana.

The Louisiana Delta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. proudly congratulates Mother Ashanti Jones, PT, DPT, EdD, on the historic achievement of leading the University of Louisiana Monroe’s Marjorie S. Price Doctor of Physical Therapy Program to full accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

As Program Director, Dr. Jones’ vision, leadership, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence have helped establish a program that will prepare future generations of compassionate, highly skilled physical therapists to serve communities throughout Louisiana and beyond.

This milestone represents years of dedication, collaboration, innovation, and service—qualities that Dr. Jones exemplifies both professionally and personally. Through her leadership, the ULM DPT Program has achieved a distinction that will positively impact healthcare outcomes for countless individuals, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

The Louisiana Delta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. encourages all families to make voting a family tradition on Election Day — Saturday, May 16.

In light of recent actions and decisions impacting communities across the state of Louisiana, it is more important than ever that every voice is heard and every vote is counted. Civic engagement is not just a responsibility — it is a powerful example for the next generation.

Our children are watching. Let them see families who show up, speak up, and participate in shaping the future of Louisiana together.

Take your children with you to the polls. Have conversations about leadership, service, and advocacy. Teach them that their voices matter and that strong communities are built through participation and action.

Let’s lead by example and continue building stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger Louisiana.
