πŸŽ‰ One Year of Hope in Crowley! πŸŽ‰

We’re celebrating one year of serving children, families, and individuals through our Crowley Counseling Center! πŸ’™

Over the past year, this space has become a place of healing, growth, and hope for so many across South Louisiana. From counseling and family therapy to play therapy and trauma-informed care, we’ve been honored to walk alongside individuals and families on their journey toward wellness.

What started as an exciting new chapter one year ago has grown into a thriving resource for our South Louisiana community, helping ensure that quality mental health services are accessible when they’re needed most.

Thank you to our clients, referral partners, supporters, and dedicated team members who have made this first year possible. We are grateful for the trust you place in us and look forward to continuing to serve Crowley for many years to come.

Here's to many more years of healing, hope, and impact! πŸ’›

Did you know that you can be trained to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate in as little as two training sessions? We will teach you everything you need to know AND you'll have a staff member by your side throughout the entire process.

You can become the voice for a child in the system who has no voice of their own. The few hours per month you volunteer as a CASA will dramatically change a child's life.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. πŸ’™ When men ask for help, attend counseling, or talk openly about their struggles, they're doing more than helping themselves- they're helping break generational cycles. They're showing younger men and boys that strength isn't found in silence, but in having the courage to heal.

The next generation is watching. The example we set today can shape how they care for themselves tomorrow.

πŸ’™ Healing can start at any age.
πŸ’™ It's never too late to learn new tools.
πŸ’™ Asking for help can change generations.

If you're struggling, support is available. Visit our website to learn more about our counseling services and take the first step toward healing.

Our Northeast Louisiana community is grieving after the tragic loss of two young lives. During difficult times, it's important to remember that children, teens, and adults may all process grief differently.

This story shares helpful information about navigating grief and supporting one another during times of loss. We are keeping the families, friends, first responders, and everyone impacted by this tragedy in our thoughts.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available.

The Center for Children & Families offers counseling services for children, teens, adults, and families across Louisiana. To learn more or schedule an appointment, call 318-398-0945 or visit standforhope.org.

CASA of NELA is proud to say we graduated FIVE NEW ADVOCATES! πŸŽ‰β€πŸ’™

Missi Verdick, Claire Larson, Sherry Pruitt, Kirby Johnson, and Tommy Elmore were sworn in by Judge Aisha Clark and are officially Court Appointed Special Advocates!

These five individuals are going to make an incredible impact on the life of a child in foster care right here in Northeast Louisiana. In just a few hours a month, these advocates will ensure an abused or neglected child will find a safe, permanent home. What an amazing opportunity!

Thank you, advocates, for choosing to give your few volunteer hours per month to CASA of Northeast Louisiana!

You can join these community members in changing the life of a child by becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate too! Training classes are happening all summer long - and we need you! You can become trained in two short classes and be on your way to serving a child in need. Check us out at www.casaofnela.org or email [email protected] with any questions!
