Mission Statement: To empower individuals and their families to have quality lives through information, support, and opportunity. ARCO provides Supported Living, Day Habilition, Supported and Customized Employment services for men and women with developmental disabilities.

🇺🇸 Today, members of ARCO, A Community Resource visited the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Richland Parish to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

At ARCO, we believe community inclusion, meaningful experiences, and connection matter deeply. Taking time to reflect on sacrifice, service, and freedom is one more way we help the individuals we support stay connected to the world around them and the history that shaped it.

We remember. We honor. We are grateful. ❤️🤍

To the moms of children and adults with different abilities — we see you. We see the appointments, the planning, the cheering from the sidelines, the late nights, the celebrations over milestones big and small, and the fierce love that never quits. Thank you for being advocates, protectors, teachers, and champions.

We are so proud of our Vocational Director, Courtney Yutzy, for being a member of the 2026 Leadership Ouachita Class! Her dedication shows up every single day in the lives she impacts, and her commitment to growing as a leader.

She’s also in Baton Rouge attending Northern Exposure, gaining valuable insight and bringing back ideas that will continue to strengthen our community.

Art, connection, and just a little bit of sparring—what a combo! 🎨🥊

We had such a great time at the Art is Therapy event hosted by Northeast Delta Human Services Authority. From creative expression to meaningful moments, it was a beautiful reminder of how powerful art can be for healing and connection.

And let’s talk about the highlight—we even got to have some fun sparring with Bone Krusher! Safe to say, it brought the energy and a lot of smiles.

Take a look at these moments in action at RocketFast Car Wash—our participants are out there showing what they can do, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Did you know our Supported Employment Program goes beyond just job placement? We partner with local businesses to create meaningful opportunities and continue showing up—checking in, offering support, and making sure both the participant and employer are thriving.

Because at ARCO, it’s not just about finding a job… it’s about building confidence, independence, and lasting success.

And trust us—we’re busy, but our participants? They’re doing it all. 👏

Happy Easter! 💛🐣

Our amazing Community Ventures crew spent the week spreading a little extra joy—helping prep for the Walk Around the Block for Autism! They stuffed over 300 eggs (yes, 300! 🥚✨), picked out goodies, and helped bring our activity table to life.

And guess what? It was a huge success! 🎉

Moments like these remind us how powerful it is when our community comes together—lifting each other up, one egg (and one smile) at a time. 💙
