Louisiana Cancer Foundation The Louisiana Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit health service organization whose programs are designed to encompass all phases of the cancer experience.

We provide education and free cancer screenings for early detection Established in 1999, the Louisiana Cancer Foundation set a goal to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions. The mission of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. The LCF is a 501(c)(3).

49%. What is it now?

When the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council conducted its regional arts education study in 2018, we found that 9,922 of the 20,279 students represented - approximately 49% - had no opportunity to study the arts at school.

Nearly a decade later, we need to know what's changed.

Where have we made progress? Where do gaps remain? And what does access to arts education look like for Northeast Louisiana students today?

That's why we're conducting the State of Arts Education in Northeast Louisiana 2027 Regional Assessment.
