Close to 80 kids participated in our annual Shop With A First Responder event this morning at Desert Star Middle School and Fort Mohave Walmart. Thank you to the amazing volunteers and sponsors who helped support another year of bringing Christmas to local kids around the Colorado River Valley. HUGE thanks to all our first responders from local agencies — MCSO, MCSO Search & Rescue, FMMFD, MVFD, Oatman Fire and even SBCSO Needles, BNSF Railroad and BHCPD.

You all went above and beyond with our kids.

🎁 Help Us Make Christmas Brighter for Local Kids! 🚒👮‍♀️✨

The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the Tri State Heroes & Youth foundation in Shop with a First Responder, a program serving the entire Bridge-to-Bridge River valley community —Mohave Valley, Fort Mohave, Topock, Oatman, Needles, CA, and the surrounding Colorado River communities.

The mission is simple: make the holidays a little brighter for children and families who need extra support.

On December 13, selected children will each receive a $100 Walmart gift card and enjoy the unforgettable experience of shopping side-by-side with our local first responders.

Shop with a first responder has partnered with the Mohave Valley Fire Department Youth Benefits Program, who help identify families facing hardship. Together, they provide:
🍽️ Dinner gift certificates to Black Bear Diner
🛒 Smith’s gift cards through MVFD Youth Benefits to help families enjoy a full holiday meal

💛 But to make this happen, we need your help.
We are currently seeking:

👉 Event Sponsors / Donors
Donations can be made out to Tri-State Heroes and Youth. Every contribution directly supports a child or family in our valley.k

👉 Day-Of Volunteers
We need volunteers on December 13 from 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM to help bring the magic to life!
