This weekend, Nate (Jason's brother), along with friends Matt and Tom, completed the PanOhio Hope Ride, cycling approximately 328 miles from Cleveland to Cincinnati.

They rode in honor of the family and friends they've lost and in support of those who are currently fighting cancer.

For every mile of the journey, Nate carried some of Jason's ashes with him. One day, he proudly wore a Jason Penix Family Foundation jersey, helping spread awareness for pancreatic cancer and our mission of early detection and support.

As they traveled across Ohio, they also left our signature awareness ducks at:
• John Carroll University
• The College of Wooster
• Otterbein University
• Wright State University
• Larkin Airfield

We are incredibly proud of their dedication, strength, and commitment to honoring Jason's memory while bringing awareness to a disease that impacts far too many families. Thank you, Nate, Matt, and Tom, for carrying our mission across Ohio—one mile at a time.

A group of three friends from Medina County will be cycling across the state of Ohio on the Pan Ohio Hope Ride this week to support people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

We know that many families in our community and across the country have been impacted by pancreatic cancer and continue to grieve the loss of someone who fought this disease with incredible strength.

We would be honored to help preserve their memory by sharing their story on the Jason Penix Family Foundation Memorial Wall.

If you would like to include your loved one, please submit a photograph along with a paragraph telling us about their life, the person they were, and the legacy they left behind.

Every story helps honor their memory and reminds others that they are never forgotten.

Thank you seems so small compared to everything you did to make our first golf outing such a success.

We are truly grateful for the incredible support from our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped in any way. The success of this event is a direct reflection of your generosity, dedication, and belief in our mission.

We appreciate all of your participation and the feedback you've shared. We are already looking forward to planning our 2027 golf outing and hope you'll join us again.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping the Jason Penix Family Foundation continue its mission of raising pancreatic cancer awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting families affected by this disease.

What a weekend! All of our hardworking volunteers needed a few days to recover after an amazing time spreading awareness for the Jason Penix Family Foundation.

Our volunteer team was busy throughout the event wearing their QR code shirts, handing out wristbands and coozies, and sharing our mission of pancreatic cancer awareness, early detection, and support for families facing this disease.

Some highlights from the weekend:
• Our volunteers successfully got one of our signature ducks to Chase Matthew.
• A couple of foundation hats made their way onstage to both Chase Matthew’s and Brantley Gilbert’s bands.
• One of our most dedicated little volunteer, Lincoln, received a signed hat from Chase Matthew himself.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped represent the foundation and spread our message.

We are now just over two weeks away from our First Annual Jason Penix Family Foundation Golf Outing. We still have room for a few more teams, so gather your foursome and join us for a great day supporting an important cause.

Raffle tickets are still available for:
• 2 Neon Nights tickets at Clay’s Park (August 14–15) — $10 per ticket
• $600 Gift Certificate for a tattoo session with Evin Barba at Black Sheep Tattoo — $20 per ticket

Winners will be drawn at the conclusion of the golf outing.
