Wave of Hope was created to meet the recovery needs of the Gulf Coast. The program utilizes the 12 step approach outlined in Alcoholics Anonymous, and is 8 weeks in length. Each week consists of 2 small group sessions and one individual session for each client, and addresses the individual's struggles associated with substance abuse and/or codependency. Since the disease of addiction often affects

more than just the individual struggling, we offer family sessions that meet periodically throughout the course of the 8 weeks, and highly recommend that the individual's support system be involved during the treatment process.
