Your Sea Scout, in concert with NOLA Scouts, visited the Peruvian Cadet Training tall ship UNION. We presented the World Sail Day 250 banner to the Captain and Admiral. Our 20minute ceremony turned into a 3 1/2 personal vessel tour by the Senior ( LCdr Carlos) Deck officer. Gifts were exchanged and the day ended with Cadet Staff raising our Mobile Council Sea Scout Flag on UNION’s main signal halyard. Wow what terrific adventure. Bravo Zulu to Mesr Simon Orlrnskki, Netherlands, World Sail Foundation President and Tony Constanous, NOLA Sea Scout representative.
We’ve been invited to participate in the Baltimore and Norfolk World Sail 250 stops.

Your Sea Scouting team had a terrific time Saturday 4/11 at the 15th annual Dauphin Island Sea Lab Discovery Days. Thanks to Bo'sun Will Wolfenden and 1/C Oliver Lyons for sharing the Sea scouting experience with the 1,500 guests who stopped by our static display. Six (6) potential candidates signed who are REALLY interested in becoming crew members. Hoo Rah

Went to Sandy Bruton’s memorial service today. Very sad, the Scouting community lost a VERY dedicated Silver Beaver.
