The Ecology & Natural History Society

The Ecology & Natural History Society Ever wonder what that beautiful flower was? Or what bird was serenading you on your walk to campus? Or why the Missoula valley looks the way it does?

ENHS is a group open to all University of Montana students with a desire to experience and learn more about the ecology and natural history of Missoula and western Montana. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, ENHS embarks on adventures throughout the region. Activities include hiking, snowshoeing, birding, wolf watching, and wildlife tracking. ENHS will also occasionally host guest speakers

from around western Montana who will share their expertise and skills while leading a group outing. We encourage anyone who is interested to contact us or come to a Saturday outing!

We need your help!
ENHS is compiling a vast collection of bird & wildlife observations from around Missoula. With your help, "Mapping Missoula" can become a useful tool for monitoring species and better understanding the ecology of the region. Visit the "Mapping Missoula" page (http://tinyurl.com/7pslrxg) to see the map and log your very own observations!
