Ha-EHYEH ALONE Is Elohim (G-D)
A Textual Teaching on Oneness, Covenant, and Faithfulness
________________________________________
I. The Torah’s Foundational Claim: Ha-EHYEH Alone Is God
The Torah does not argue monotheism. It asserts it—repeatedly, emphatically, and exclusively.
“And know today and take it to your heart, that Ha-EHYEH, He is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.”
— Devarim / Deuteronomy 4:39
This is not poetic language.
It is a legal declaration of reality.

II. Singular Pronouns: He, Him, His — Never ‘They, Them, Their’
From beginning to end, the Torah speaks of Ha-EHYEH only in the singular, thousands upon thousands of times—never as a plurality, never as shared identity, never as divided personhood.
“Hear (and obey), Yisrael: Ha-EHYEH is our God, Ha-EHYEH is One.”
— Devarim / Deuteronomy 6:4
“See now that I, I am He, and there is no god with Me. I put to death, and I give life. I wound, and I heal. And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.”
— Deuteronomy 32:39–40
Ha-EHYEH declares—without qualification:
“I, I am He” — not we, not us, not through another
“There is no god with Me” — no partner, no intermediary, no shared authority
“I put to death, and I give life” — exclusive sovereignty over existence
“I wound, and I heal” — exclusive authority over judgment and restoration
“There is no one who can deliver from My hand” — no rescuer, no savior, no exception
All acts of life, death, judgment, healing, and deliverance are attributed solely to Ha-EHYEH.
Notice the grammar:
I
Me
He
With Me
NO OTHER
The Torah does not speak in shared identity, divided persons, delegated divinity, or co-mediators.
This establishes a non-negotiable Torah principle:
Ha-EHYEH alone is God, and there is none with Him.

III. Ha-EHYEH Declares His Eternal, Independent Existence
At the burning bush, Ha-EHYEH defines Himself—not through lineage, incarnation, or birth—but through existence itself:
“I AM WHO I AM (EHYEH ASHER EHYEH)…Thus you shall say to the Sons of Yisrael: EHYEH has sent me to you.”
— Exodus 3:14
EHYEH is:
Self-existent
Uncreated
Unborn
Unbounded
His identity is not derived. It simply is.

IV. Ha-EHYEH Explicitly States: He Is Not a Man
The Torah removes all ambiguity:
“God is not a man…nor a son of man...”
— Numbers 23:19
The Prophets reaffirm the same boundary:
“I am G-d, and not man—the Holy One in your midst.”
— Hosea 11:9
These are not metaphors.
They are categorical distinctions.
Ha-EHYEH:
Is not human
Is not born
Is not embodied
Is not descended

V. No Mediators, No Rivals, No Shared Authority
The Torah is absolutely clear:
“You shall have no other gods besides Me.”
— Exodus 20:3
“You have been shown to know, that you might know that Ha-EHYEH—He is Elohim (G-d); there is no other besides Him.”
— Deuteronomy 4:35
There is no room for:
Secondary gods
Divine sons
Intercessory beings with divine status

VI. The Torah Warns: False Prophets Will Arise to Test Faithfulness
The Torah anticipates deception by design, not by surprise:
“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder… saying, ‘Let us go after other gods…and serve them’… you shall not listen to the words of that prophet… For Ha-EHYEH your Elohim is testing you to find out if you love Ha-EHYEH your Elohim with all your heart and all your soul.”
— Devarim/Deuteronomy 13:2–4
The Torah’s standard is without a doubt:
Signs do not validate doctrine
Wonders do not override Torah
Faithfulness is measured by adherence to the Covenant of Torah

VII. The Covenant Is Defined by the Torah of Moshe Alone
“And Moshe has commanded us a Torah, a possession of the assembly of Ya’aqob (Jacob).”
— Deuteronomy 33:4
The Covenant is not reissued, revised, replaced, or superseded.

VIII. Absolute Prohibition: Do Not Add or Subtract
Any system that introduces new doctrine, alters Covenantal structure, or redefines Ha-EHYEH stands in direct violation of Torah law.
“You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you today nor delete from it.”
— Deuteronomy 4:2
“Everything I command you today, you shall keep and do; you shall not add to it, nor shall you all delete from it.”
— Deuteronomy 13:1

IX. The Covenant of Ha-EHYEH in His Torah is Eternal
The Torah does not describe the Covenant as temporary, conditional upon replacement, or subject to revision. It defines the Covenant as everlasting, for all generations, and throughout time.
“And I will establish My Covenant between Me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an Everlasting Covenant, to be Elohim (G-d) to you and to your offspring after you.”
— Genesis 17:7
The phrase Brit Olam (Everlasting Covenant) is not symbolic.
It means never ending.
________________________________________
The Torah repeats this standard explicitly:
“And you shall keep My Covenant, you and your offspring after you, throughout their generations.”
— Genesis 17:9
________________________________________
The Covenant is described as ongoing, not renewable or replaceable:
“And My Covenant shall be in your flesh for an Everlasting Covenant.”
— Genesis 17:13
________________________________________
At Sinai, the same eternal framework is reaffirmed:
“Ha-EHYEH our Elohim did not make this Covenant with our forefathers, but with us at Horeb. Not with our fathers did Ha-EHYEH make this Covenant, but with us—all those all those of us alive here today. Ha-EHYEH spoke to you face to face…”
— Deuteronomy 5:2–4
This establishes a continued Covenantal—not a discontinued one.
________________________________________
The Torah then seals the generational scope:
“And not with you alone am I making this Covenant… but with those who are stand here with us today, in the presence of Ha-EHYEH our Elohim (G-d), and with those who are not here with us here today.”
— Deuteronomy 29:13-15
The Covenant explicitly includes:
• Past generations
• Present generations
• Future generations
________________________________________
The Torah states the Covenant’s permanence in absolute terms:
“The secrets belong to Ha-EHYEH our Elohim (G-d). And what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, that we shall do all the words of this Torah.”
— Deuteronomy 29:29
Forever (Ad Olam).
Not until revision.
Not until replacement.
Not until reinterpretation.

Torah Principle Established
• The Covenant is EVERLASTING
• The Covenant applies throughout all generations
• The Covenant does not expire
• The Covenant is not replaced
• The Covenant is bound to doing all the words of the Torah
Any claim of annulment, supersession, renewal or replacement contradicts the Torah’s own testimony.
X. Final Teaching Conclusion
The Torah testifies with one voice:
Ha-EHYEH is One
He alone is God
He is not a man
He is not born
He does not share authority
He does not replace His Eternal Covenant
He tests faithfulness through obedience to Torah
He forbids additions, deletions, and reinterpretations that override the written word.
“Ha-EHYEH—He is God. There is no other.”
