The Boys & Girls Club of Mission continues to track Hurricane Beryl and the threat that it may pose to our community. At this point the storm’s track is taking a northerly route and the severe weather threat for our area has been lessened, so we plan to be open for members on Monday, 7/8. We will monitor the situation as the weekend goes on and make any further decisions about possible closures as needed. Please follow Boys & Girls Club of Mission’s social media pages, as well as the City of Mission’s social media for all information.

Monthly staff appreciation lunch here at the Boys & Girls Club of Mission! Thank you Drunken Chicken for the great food.

These people are the reason the sky’s the limit for this club and our kids! Staff was asked to write a quote they love on today’s “table cloth”.

‼️ Soccer parents please be advised ‼️

Due to current extreme weather conditions and the future forecast of severe summer heat, the Boys & Girls Club of Mission has made the decision to postpone our upcoming soccer season to late October out of an abundance of caution for members and their families. We discussed the option of postponement with city officials, coaches, and our board of directors, and came to a consensus that our community’s safety should be at the forefront of all our decisions. We will be issuing refunds or credit for the next season to all participants. Again, our sincerest apologies for an inconvenience this may have caused. Today at BGCA National Conference in Orlando, Fl, we attended the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Professional Association National awards recognition luncheon and are extremely honored to share that our very own, Cayla Garza, was named National Professional of The Year!! We are ever so grateful to Cayla for her hard work and dedication to our club, youth and community.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America consist of 5000 clubs and 67,000 professionals throughout the United States. This is an amazing accomplishment. Please help us congratulate, Cayla!!

We know that providing a meal for your child could be a big challenge as we all recover from the storm. We have partnered with the Boys/Girls Club of Mission and City of Alton for two special student meal program sites. Any child 0-18 qualifies. Child must be present.
