MEET YOUR DUNKEES 🌊 Austin Burckhard

When we asked Austin what his “why” was for supporting Fuel the Fight, he replied: “I work in radiation oncology and many of my patients travel 2-4 hours each way for treatments Monday through Friday! I love that I’m able to be part of something that raises money to take some of the travel burden off their shoulders!”

MEET YOUR DUNKEES 🌊 Sam Super

Sam is a born-and-raised Minot local, who currently works for Acme Tools, and a Minot High graduate. He aspires to further his education in Film Directing or Acting as he loves theater and performing all together. He has participated in Minot State University’s Summer Theatre productions and intends to their upcoming season! He loves writing stories and comic book adaptations of his own, and would love to produce his own film one day.
When asked why Fuel the Fight is important to him, he states “because it has such a broad reach. It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t have a loved one or someone they know who is fighting/has fought cancer. With such a shared experience I think it’s important to show empathy for everyone. Community can help heal lots of problems and more connections can be made.” Sam would like to encourage everyone to come out and support the cause this coming Saturday!
