A huge thanks to everyone that came out to our first annual Kelly's Hope garage sale. We are so grateful to everyone that bought an item, donated, worked, shared their cancer journey and listened about the work we do. We raised over $2900 that will be donated to the University of Minnesota's Un-Til It's Cured Alliance and their research for finding a cure for metastatic canc@er, including metastatic breast cancer!

Correction!!! We are so excited for our First Annual Kelly's Hope Garage Sale this coming Saturday September 12th. Come to find treasure and more treasure. All proceeds go to the University of Minnesota's College of Genome Engineering and their Un-Til It's Cured Research for metastatic cancer. Come help support Kelly's Hope!

We had an amazing day with Kelly Holm!

She raised $55,432 for our Un-TIL it’s Cured clinical trial through Kelly’s Hope
presented by vrani-CURE

We are so thankful to her friends and family for joining us in the lab and seeing first hand the equipment, resources, and scientists that the donations will fund.

Diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2023, Kelly has found purpose in supporting Stage 4 breast cancer research using the motto, “while I breathe, I hope.”

Finding a cure to cancer- that is our hope!

I busted out!! What a great day. Therapy was so excited about my progress that they sent me home! Going to rehab was the best thing I could have done, but there’s no place like home. Don’t get me wrong, I have a lot of therapy in my future, but as you can see in my OT photo today, I am standing on my own (and I’m able to walk pretty good as well!). One of my biggest obstacles will be learning to deal with the loss of my vision in my lower, right quadrant. I can’t see a thing. But it was a risk I was aware could happen and I will learn to compensate.
Dum Spiro Spero…While I breathe, I hope. I will do better than just hope for right now - I KNOW that I will continue to improve!
