🔹 Brian Kimmes | 2026–27
Director of Development & Alumni Relations at Dunwoody College of Technology. A connector at heart who leads with positivity—and believes Rotary should be meaningful and fun.

🔹 Bob Baker | 2027–28
Founder of Baker CFO Services, Board Member at Unity Bank, and Treasurer for both our club and District 5950. Known for bringing clarity, structure, and fresh perspective to every challenge.

🔹 Lisa Moncrief | 2028–29
Leads strategy and implementation of commercial loan participation purchases and sales at Wings Credit Union, with a consultative, relationship-first approach.

City of Lakes Rotary’s foundation is making a $4,400 donation to the Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund, a fund of the Minneapolis Foundation, to support restaurant workers and small hospitality businesses as they rebuild and move forward.

Restaurants are a vital part of our community, and we’re proud to support the people who bring energy and connection to Minneapolis every day.

Days for Girls Brings Impact Close to Home

COL volunteers assembled beautiful, reusable feminine hygiene kits that will be distributed to girls in developing countries—helping them stay in school, protect their health, and gain education about their bodies.

Chanda Olson and Bill Jackson presented a $2,000 check to Judy Johnson, Area Coordinator for Days for Girls, and the Rotary Club Of Maple Grove. This contribution supports future Days for Girls projects in our community and extends the impact of this important work.

A powerful morning in Minneapolis. ☀️

Proud that we hosted this special breakfast at the Minneapolis Club, to hear Rotary International President-Nominee Larry Lunsford and Erick García Luna from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

Larry reminded us that when the world feels shaken, Rotarians step forward — with more service, more action, and more compassion. Erick shared encouraging economic insights, noting that Minnesota’s economic fundamentals remain strong — a testament to the resilience and strength of our communities.

A highlight: presenting a $25,000 check from the Lawrence Foundation to the Host Organization Committee — an investment in our ‘28 Rotary International Convention in Minneapolis.

Grateful for our volunteers Brock Ray, Ross Naylor, Tom Gump, Anna Coskran, Sandy Christensen, Russ Michaletz, Sam Thompson, Frances Tyler, Alex Falenczykowski, Richard Mosman, Scott Benson, Steve Morris, Robert Baker.
