What has history said about countries in situations like this? The world superpowers such as the Roman, Ottoman, Persian, Mongol, Spanish, British, the ancient Egyptian, Greek and Chinese Empires have all collapsed, due to their own insatiable desire for conquest. They have caused untold suffering and death, all in the name of spreading t

is never trumped. The United States is swaying away from democracy and freedom, and towards totalitarianism, war mongering, and harassment and oppression of the people of the world, including domestically. I hope for this page to be a rally point for individuals to organize, speak their minds and TAKE ACTION. Freedom isn't handed to the people, the people must fight for it, and that doesn't mean blowing up impoverished nations on the opposite side of the globe.

A rather astute and colloquially robust commentary has been assembled throughout this video segment which essentially discloses the way how things really are within the United States in addition to the world at large. Provided, there are signs of biases, but I am a believer in the notion that the truth speaks a universal language which in turn can be understood and appreciated in a unilateral manner; irrespective of the various issues that seem to divide and conquer us as a human civilization.

Public blindness manifests arbitrary submissiveness which numbs the general population to the grave situational reality that has come to define the world of the 21st century in its entirety. Similar to what Dwight D. Eisenhower had mentioned in his farewell address to the American people in the late 1950s, we can only stand to correct these grave complications if we make use of our democratic institutions which are in turn safeguarded by our government on all levels; the longer we take such an invaluable substance for granted, then the further we will be from our democratic emancipation as Americans first and citizens of the world second.

Suggestively, bringing ourselves out of such a sheepish trance is in order.

Eliciting the general population to support vicious cycles of perpetual warfare defines a distinguishable art in which the military industrial complex has mastered over decades of trail through error. An infamous Marine Corp general known as Smedley Butler had proclaimed that “war is a racket,” and it is this sentiment which defines the sequential logic in which the MIC introduces, proliferates, and perpetuates military adventurism in every corner of the world. We must then ask ourselves the following questions: “what are we actually fighting for; are we fighting for fervent nationalism, ideals, justice, or world peace; is a high concentration of military adventurism worth the human cost that is involved?

It is no secret that defense contractors are the legalized and politically correct arms dealers of the day and it is in their best interest to ensure that states of perpetual warfare (this includes the proliferation of military preparedness) is prolonged at all costs which ensures high profitability, refined power, and a sharper edge of manipulation (political lobbying) over the federal/national government. Human civilization will always necessitate implemented security measures which are in turn complimentary to our collective sense of social stabilization, but our main preoccupation, as an industrious species, should not be entirely concentrated toward preparing, waging, and perpetuating states of warfare.

As Sun Tzu had stated in his world famous work the Art of War, “a brilliant commander/general is one who does not win one hundred battles, but one that achieves victory without having to commit to a malicious show of military force.” Obviously, this quote was paraphrased.

It is reassuring to observe that we have nearly reached the 50 member mark, but we should all be reminded that we still have our work cut out for us. I would personally like to thank each individual for taking the time to observe who we are as an organization, but I feel that we do not yet have enough members who can carry a local presence within the Twin Cities of any real sustaining significance. At the moment, this is where we should direct our focus as a local chapter. With any good fortune, we can consider facilitating a little “group-get-together” within the next two months if we are able. The subject of peace is arguably intended to be abstract so that we can all come together to figure out how we can make its many wide ranging concepts a reality. Anyway, I thought it would be best to touch base with the chapter and see where we stand. Anyone is welcome to contribute and post anything that is relevant to our cause.

Paths, Courses, & Predicaments of Societal Progress
Omar Alansari-Kreger

Those of us who understand the true pillars of justice must first understand where we rest from within our societal surroundings. We have to understand that through genuine observances of well minded civic behavior can we hope to influence our societies for the better. After all, once we are able to take the next step towards progresses can we then intensify the path to modernity. This measure betters society for the rest of us which eases the conduct of our lives. As we make an effort to gain a better understanding about societal enlightenment, we quickly begin to realize that there are so many things out there in which we are unaware. Many of us are becoming lost in this maze of consumerism which is in turn masked by overzealous concentrations of materialism. In order to make the greatest differences for ourselves, we must first make an effort to lead by the examples that we wish to see implemented in and around our environmental surroundings.

Technological modernity is not enough to ensure that we are going to emerge as equal and equitably minded people. We must take the next step and ask ourselves what may rest ahead in the near and relative future. There are so many unknowns, but we must all make an effort to take a step into the depth of uncertainty that universally surrounds us all. Some of the greatest experiments of government have been put to the test during periods of a grave societal crisis which challenge us to think outside of our own conventional norms. Periods of crisis are then determined to exist as a true scale of effectiveness that is retained by a government; however, innovations that do not yet have a sense of real world reinforcement must be given the benefit of the doubt to succeed. If this course of action is not taken, then we may never know what the unknown may retain for us as fallible human beings.

Our societies continue to necessitate additional accommodations and provisions which continue to enable our competitiveness as a progressive race, but we cannot always insist that the relative unknown is inherently detrimental in nature. The human consciousness can never know the definitive nature of reality for certain. The potential for probable properties continue to be existent which hinders the certainty that we have established for all of the tested attributes known to humankind. At times, we cannot always be assured that a particular outcome will reoccur every single time. As a result, we are simply blinded by what we do not really know, but once the unknown is able to produce something of a positive outcome, we are then taken down another path of progress.

Nonetheless, we need to be extremely careful when attempting to understand different mediums of progress. Such ideas are not always progressive, but time exists as the ultimate determining factor which is then reinforced by a real world environment. At the end, we have to take the next step forward into the unknown in order to gain a better understanding about ourselves as human beings. Various philosophical dispositions have attempted to understand the causes that create shortcomings in human nature. Common sense proves that no a single disposition has the ability to entirely address these shortcomings.

The human consciousness continues to reach new dimensions as individuals are given greater concentrations of everyday empowerment. The only outstanding issue is that so many of us fail to realize the benefit of its fruits. Our ability to critically think about our societal surroundings will determine if we will be successful in containing the forces of overzealous absolutism. At the end, ignorance prevails because free spirited human beings allow themselves to be kept in intellectual darkness.

Greetings Everyone! We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all new comers. You have all arrived at a grassroots organization that was established upon a single premise which seeks to maximize the power and potential of world peace in all of its manifestations. We welcome any posts or ideas out there! Once we are able to gain enough momentum as a local chapter, our first public get together will be facilitated either in Minneapolis or St. Paul; it all depends on which of the two are more practical once the proper time arrives. Again, welcome and please do not hesitate to express yourselves! We glad that you are here.
