🎶 TBSAA Women in Music Featured Alumna: Regina C. Tucker 🎶

Regina C. Tucker is a nationally respected arts leader, proud alumna of the Epsilon Psi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma (Fall 1985), a TBSAA Gold Star Member, and a member of the Epsilon Psi Alumni Association. Her distinguished career spans more than 30 years in performance, education, Fine Arts leadership, and arts program development.

Currently serving as Director of Dance for DeSoto ISD, Regina was strategically recruited to build and transform the district's dance program, elevating Fine Arts across the district. Under her leadership, the program earned its first state championship along with multiple regional and statewide titles, redefining competitive excellence and positioning the district as an emerging leader in dance education.

A seven-season veteran of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Show Group, Regina toured internationally and continues to champion opportunities that connect marching bands, auxiliaries, and the arts to premier performance experiences. She is also the co-founder of the Tucker Family Foundation for the Arts, advancing cultural preservation, mentorship, equitable arts access, and innovative Fine Arts programs for schools and communities.

Beyond her work in the classroom, Regina is a published author, contributing to The HBCU Experience, Dance Edition II: The Legacy, Culture, and Impact of Dance at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and serves as Coordinator for the Texas Dance Educators Association DEAL State Assessment.
