Last night at girls' and boys' soccer we celebrated the 1986 girls' soccer and the 2006 boys' soccer teams.
* The 1986 girls' soccer team was the first ever BSM soccer team to make it to the state tournament. 40 years ago there were no classes. You compete against every other school no matter the size. The BSM girls' soccer team recognizes these women for setting the standard for BSM girls' soccer and beginning the legacy for our program. Thank you BSM 1986 women's soccer team!
* The 2006 boys' soccer team won the state tournament. During the 2006 season the squad scored 87 goals and allowed only 18. Their overall record was 17-4-1. They defeated Mankato West by a score of 2-1 in the state Championship game on November 2, 2006! Coach Platt welcomed his third child, Charlie, the morning of the state championship game. It was great to have Charlie join the squad 20 years later! Benilde-St. Margaret's
