Hat-Tricks for Hodgkins Benefit

Hat-Tricks for Hodgkins Benefit Hat-Tricks for Hodgkins is a benefit soccer tournament. All the funds raised will be donated to Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

Matt Romanello was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in May of 2012. Chemotherapy treatments quickly took a toll on his health, and Matt has been unable to work since. Being the father of three boys (Bryce, Zack, and Rydan), the financial burden has quickly mounted for Matt and his family. Hat-tricks for Hodgkins is a benefit soccer tournament organized with the purpose to raise funds Matt and his

family. Matt has been active in the Southern Ohio soccer community throughout his life and also played during his time at Marshall University. He has spent his professional career helping others stay healthy and active as a personal trainer and Physical Therapy Assistant. A benefit soccer tournament seemed the most appropriate way to show Matt support during this time of hardship. (Update 2014)
As you may know, Matt has had successful treatment and is currently in complete remission. The tournament helped greatly in the Romanello Family's time of need. We have decided to continue the tournament. This time all the funds raised will be donated to Leukemia Lymphoma Society to support further research and hopefully help others who have also had their lives affected by this disease.
