Our January members of the month are Jackie and Justine Pronovost, class of 2005. Below are details of each girl's many accomplishments. Congratulations and Thank You for your contributions to Mustang Athletics and beyond! If you attend the basketball alumni night Friday January 30th you will be able to see new plaques installed for Hannah, Jackie and Justine, along with other HOF memorabilia. There will also be a special surprise celebrating our basketball league championships. We hope to see you there!

Our February member of the month is Tom O'Banion, Class of 1937. He was the State Cross Country Champion in 1936, and he was a three-year letterman in Cross Country and Track. After graduating from MHS Tom worked for Acme Welding where he met his future wife. He volunteered to serve in World War II where he was a tank commander in the Third Armored Division "Spearhead" that fought in the Battle of the Bulge and liberated the Dora-Mittelbau concentration camp. After 43 months away from Milwaukie he returned to marry and raise his 5 children blocks away from where he grew up in Ardenwald. All of his children are proud Mustang graduates. What a life well-lived! Tom's brother, Elbert "Eb", Class of 1935, is also a member. Congratulations, O'Banion family, and thank you for your contributions to MHS!
