Menomonee River Valley Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley is an urban escape with nature & trails, one-of-a-kind entertainment, and good companies & careers.

People from all over the city bike and walk on the 14 miles of Hank Aaron State Trail that stretch through the entire district, convenient for commuting or for fun and exercise. Some cast a line for some fly fishing or jump in a kayak for a float down the Menomonee River - the same river that carried the materials that once helped Milwaukee become a manufacturing powerhouse - to grab a drink or dinner at a riverfront venue. The 24-acre Three Bridges Park is an expanse of rolling hills planted with tall, native grasses – at times making you forget you’re in the heart of the city. Others prefer the vibrant energy of some of the state’s largest entertainment experiences or local Valley favorites.

The Milwaukee River Challenge returns Saturday, October 3, marking 25 years of competitive rowing on Milwaukee’s rivers! More than 800 high school, collegiate, and club rowers will take on the three-mile course through the heart of downtown Milwaukee. 🚣‍♀️

The race begins at 25th and Canal Streets on the Menomonee River before heading into the Milwaukee River, with crews racing beneath 18 bridges and finishing near Schlitz Park. There are plenty of spots to catch the action along the route, including the MOTOR Bar & Restaurant at the Harley-Davidson Museum, The Twisted Fisherman Crab Shack, and Lombardi Brewing Company (now serving coffee for the morning start time ☕️).

Racing runs from 9am–2pm, so grab a spot along the river and watch this unique Milwaukee tradition unfold on the water.

Day 7 of Valley Week = Marquette Night! 🍻

Third Space Brewing is tapping Marquette Golden Ale tonight, with $1 pints until the keg blows. Marquette University students, staff, and alumni get 25% off their tabs all evening. Come play some yard games and toast to the Valley with us.

Can you believe we're on Day 6 of Valley Week 2026?! We can't!

Hope you join us today for one of our events 👇

1️⃣ History Walk with Adam Carr, 7:30am - 9:30am. Walk through Three Bridges Park with Milwaukee historian Adam Carr, then grab breakfast together at Orenda Café.

2️⃣ VWS: Community Walk & Talk, 11am - 11:45am. Join Marquette interns from Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee for a walk through the park, near the Domes, and back.

3️⃣ Happy Hour Boat Cruises, 4pm, 5pm, & 6pm. Hop on a 45-minute cruise down the Menomonee River with Twisted Fisherman. Your first drink is included!

From 7am - 12pm, drop your old electronics at Stamm Tech and enjoy a free coffee on us.

From 6pm - 7pm, unwind with breathwork at Three Bridges Park and learn a few techniques to help you feel calm and focused with Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee.

Or from 5pm - 8pm, grab a kayak and hit the water for a floating concert with MKE River Roundup.

Calling all Cheeseheads! 🧀

Day 2 of Valley Week is here, and it's a Packers Sunday.

Today's event is the Packers Watch Party at Lombardi Brewing Co! Throw on your green and gold, grab a seat, and get ready to yell "Go Pack Go!" with the rest of the Valley. We'll be there from kickoff to close, 12pm - 3pm.

Enjoy $5 pours of premium la**rs and $5 brats for an hour before and after the game, from 11am - 4pm!

It's free to join and open to everyone, no registration required.

Valley Week is officially here! 🎉

Today's event is the Menomonee River Valley x Near West Side Scavenger Hunt with Near West Side Partners, Inc.

There's still plenty of time to join the hunt, so grab your crew and download the GooseChase app to get started. Complete missions around the Valley and Near West Side neighborhoods to rack up points along the way. The hunt is free to participate in and runs through tomorrow at 5pm.
