This year, novelist Angela Flournoy will be our keynote speaker. As a national book award finalist, novelist Flournoy explores family, place, and identity in modern life.

Award winning author of "The Turner House" and "The Wilderness," she is celebrated as one of the most dynamic voices in contemporary American fiction, she brings unforgettable characters and keen insight to the complexities of modern life.

Nikki Giovanni died on December 9, 2024. She was our first author in the Milwaukee Alumnae Chapter's author series, which later led to the first Literary Luncheon which featured Maya Angelou. We will be eternally grateful for her literary contributions.
