Zoomer by name, Zoomer by nature! 💨🐶

This handsome boy is a 1-year-old American Terrier mix weighing in at 60 pounds of pure energy, enthusiasm, and personality!

Zoomer recently joined us as a transfer from another shelter, and he’s ready to zoom his way into someone’s heart! ❤️

Welcome to SCA Benny 🐾

Although it might be hard to tell under that beautiful full coat, Benny came to us significantly underweight. We currently have him on a strict and carefully monitored feeding schedule to prevent Refeeding Syndrome. We don't know the circumstances that led to Benny's poor health, and we aren't here to judge his previous owners.

We are, however, here to serve as a resource to families struggling to provide basic care for their pets.
No judgement, just help 💛

Sweet Jack had surgery last weekend, but instead of a speedy recovery, Jack began having weakness in his back legs, shortness of breath, and he stopped urinating AGAIN‼️

In the past 7 days jacks had 3 ER trips, multiple ultrasounds & X-rays, repeat failed cath attempts, 2 cystocentesis, emergency surgery, and seen a specialist in Madison. This sweet boy has been through hell; after surgery and so many failed cath attempts, his abdomen and legs were left bruised and swollen 😭
For days, we bounced around from one doctor to the next, just hoping to get some answers and praying he pulls through ❤️‍🩹
At 10 pounds, Jack might be small, but he's strong! 💪🏼

After multiple incorrect diagnoses, we think our primary veterinarian has found the problem. His treatments been adjusted, and now we're just keeping our fingers crossed for this adorable sweet boy 🤞
Jack is only 2-3 years old and was facing euthanasia due to the cost of treatment, so we stepped in.

In addition to the THOUSANDS already spent on getting Jack stable, he'll be on medications for several weeks and needs follow-up appointments.
Any help towards his current and future treatment would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏼

🐾Handsome Bart 🐾

Bart and the other dogs in his home (Buddy&Bruno) were all rescued/adopted at one point. But unfortunately, now the family can no longer keep their pets.
Bart was found roaming the streets, skinny, missing fur, and with a poor ear cropping.

Bart’s a playful, stocky guy who’s lived with children and other dogs.
-Estimated to be around 1 1/2- 2 years old
-45 lbs
-Potty trained
-Neutered and up to date on vaccines

Bart had a rough beginning and we'd like to see to it that he lands in another loving home, instead of the shelter.

Timmy's learned a few very important things this past week:
•He's mastered "Sit" 🐾
•He's understanding to take only treats and NOT fingers 🤭
•He made doggy friends and discovered toys🐶
•Most importantly, he's learned what it's like to be loved and safe 💛

This pint sized ball of fun is on the look out for a foster or forever home!

Timmy's about 17lbs, 7 months old, and will be neutered soon.
He was recently found hiding in a garage by one of our volunteers and was not claimed during his stray hold at MADACC
