Bingham's the full package. The happiest little bundle of joy and also the snuggliest. 🥹

Bing B**g has recently hit his one year anniversary with us, and no one is more ready to find his family than he is. B is looking for a cat-free home with an active family that's ready to spoil him rotten.

We've got wrinkly beagles, dancing beagles, and playful beagles. We've even got an Alfie beagle, and he's his own breed of special. 🫠

These four are all looking for their forever homes, and we are oh-so hopeful they'll find their families before the holidays. They've all come so far since their escape from the tortures of Ridglan Farms, and we can't wait to see them settled in and cozy on their forever couches. 🥰

More info about each beag + to apply: www.olyverandco.org/adoptables.

We've learned some super exciting news over the last few weeks courtesy of the Finding Connections-Research Beagles Facebook group and the tireless work of Michael C Taylor. We know some of The Beags' true birthdays!

Elliott was born 9/4/2024.
Elmer was born 1/9/2025.
Alfie and Fritz were both born 1/19/2025. It's doubtful they're siblings, but this does go to show the sheer volume of dogs that were being born at Ridglan.

If you are a Ridglan adopter or foster and not a member of Michael's group, consider joining! It's especially enjoyable if you're a data nerd like some of us. 🤓 Link to the group can be found in the comments.

Alfie, Elmer, and Elliott are all available for adoption (+ Owen!) and actively looking for their families. For more info + to apply, visit www.olyverandco.org/adoptables.

We recently saw a post from a rescue had taken in a dog who had received an at home, DIY c-section, and it made us want to rip our hair out.

In an effort to be more productive, we thought, instead, it would be a great time to remind everyone of Operation No More Berts, our spay and neuter program. Each year, we target to help one local family per quarter who is unable to afford this essential procedure by covering the cost in full.

We can keep this program going through the generous donations received by all of you, in addition to a grant provided by The Fix Is In, Inc.

Please spay or neuter. If you need help, check out www.olyverandco.org/operation-no-more-berts.

Our resident mama's boy has some exciting news! He'll be taking a road trip to Indiana in November to meet with our friends at Chicagoland Veterinary Behavior Consultants. Wyatt has come so far since he joined O&Co - he's truly unrecognizable.

BUT. He still has some serious stranger danger, and we owe it to him to bring in the big guns to ensure he's on the right cocktail of behavioral meds and that his Hot Dog Ladies are doing all the right things.

Despite multiple unexpected setbacks/breaks in his hot dog sessions (two new knees, a gaggle of beagles moving into his house and never leaving), this guy has shown minimal signs of regression and continues to get jazzed for his training sessions.

We will forever be amazed by the bravery of our biggest baby boi, and we will continue to ensure we're there to help him along the way. ❤

We had the very best Sunday Funday with Owen and Elliott. 🍵💐🌭

Giant thank you to 414loral for hosting us and being so incredibly cognizant of ensuring the dogs were comfortable and felt safe.

We made some lovely new friends at Love Cafe and Uncle Wolfie's Downtown & The Wolf, and Owen tried his very first hot dog. 🥹

These are the kind of events we love so much - a chance to build community and bring local orgs together, and we’re so grateful to be included.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support! 🩷

We present to you: Oaklee. This curly fellow has been through it - he likes to nosh on things he's not supposed to and has already had two foreign body removal surgeries in his short life. He's looking for an extra special family that is rather tidy and willing to work with him, both on his noshing and on learning humans are friends.

Oaklee is about two years old, 80lb, and is assumed to be a golden retriever/poodle mix.

Here's what his current rescue has to say about him:

Oaklee is well mannered & respectful of his dog friends. He tries to initiate play, but isn't quite sure how. He doesn't realize his size & can be quite comical when running! He's fully house & crate trained, if you can find one large enough for him, or you can use gates... he doesn't try to jump (or step) over them. He has a history of eating socks, so he's only allowed toys that are extremely durable, he loves his benebones! He's working on leash manners & getting better everyday. He's a little unsure of new people & barks to show he's uncomfortable but once he warms up & knows he can trust you, he'll be your shadow & follow you everywhere. He's looking for a patient home that will continue his training & understands his fear of new things/changes and will help him work through those.
