Families are already struggling to make ends meet, and the rising prices of food, gas, and school supplies are adding to the strain this back-to-school season.

Instead of supporting Wisconsinites, Congressman Tom Tiffany continues to back MAGA tariffs driving up everyday costs.

Tell Tiffany to put everyday families ahead of Trump’s failing agenda at 202-225-3365.

Milwaukee families flock to school supply drive as costs continue to rise”

MAGA Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany co-sponsored a bill to abolish the Department of Education.

Now millions of dollars in critical funding meant to support students with disabilities is at risk.

Call 202-225-3365 and tell Tiffany to show up for all Wisconsin students.

Queen Dolly, in many ways, represented what America could (and should) be. Born to a farming family of 12 in Tennessee, she rose to become one of music's greatest icons through blood, sweat, tears, savvy, and raw talent.

But, this rags-to-riches story did not blow up her ego. Rather, her down-to-Earth nature, genuine sense of humor, and heart full of love (for all people) built one of the greatest philanthropists in human history. A true ally and advocate for all humans, a champion of equity, showcased by her support for black and brown communities and the LGBTQ+ community.

Dolly could have easily been a billionaire. Likely multiple times over, as one of the best-selling artists of all time with complete control and publishing rights over her catalog. Instead, she gave back to us, to society, through altruistic projects estimated to have cost her nearly $1 BILLION dollars. This is kindness. This is courage. This is empathy. This behavior, from strong and selfless human beings like Dolly, creates strong and sustainable communities for generations to come.

Perhaps no greater example exists than Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. As her father (who she often said was one of the smartest people she had ever known) was illiterate, she committed herself to supporting childhood literacy across the globe. 31 years later, kids all over the world have received a monthly book, free of charge, from Dolly to foster a love of reading. Tens of millions of parents and children have been able to bond over books because Dolly decided she didn't need another yacht, a 5th private jet, or a 15th mansion. She wanted to help make the world a better place. With 332.5 MILLION books gifted over the past three decades, it is inarguable that Dolly Parton's legacy is not just of greatness, but of benevolence and humanitarianism.

Unquestionably one of the greatest Americans in our history, and one of the few universally beloved human beings, Dolly has etched her legend into the fabric of our nation and is the gold standard of what America could (and should) be all about.

Dolly Parton. An icon, an ally, an example of the power of love, empathy, & kindness. She will truly be missed.

The irony is palpable.

Donald J. Trump failing the mirror-test for the millionth time.

Self-recognition? Zero. Cognitive function? Also zero.

Projection all the way down. Every Republican accusation is a confession. Every time.

MAGA is a cult. Nothing more, nothing less. They worship an 80 year old pe*****le because they don't understand how the world works, they aren't able to rationally analyze the problems the world is facing, and they want power/control over the rest of the world at all costs.

They refuse to take accountability for their actions, rejecting facts, data, and reality in the process, yet demand the rest of us indulge their delusions in order to justify their feelings.

Someday (if humanity has a future), history will mock this "movement" for the petulant, ignorant, downright cruel, and completely embarrassing effort that it is.

Until then, we will continue to organize against the Cult of Trump, a religion that exists only to worship and enrich one man and his family, while sacrificing any and all that get in the way. We will continue fighting for community, the United States of America, and global society at large.

Green Bay is the first municipality to pass an Economic and Social Justice Bill of Rights, putting a bold vision for a people-first economy at the local level. Inspired by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s vision of an Economic Bill of Rights, which argued that true freedom requires more than political rights, it requires the economic security to live with dignity.

This is what the New Wisconsin Idea looks like in action: putting people before profit, building power from the local level up, and proving that economic justice isn't just an aspiration, it's something we can organize to win.

Green Bay went first. Now let's bring the Economic Justice Bill of Rights to communities across Wisconsin. 🔥
