For Black History Month, we celebrate and honor the remarkable legacy of Jimmy Banks—a Milwaukee native, Mentor, Community Advocate, and a true trailblazer in American soccer, as well as a Milwaukee Wave and USMNT soccer icon. Jimmy was one of the first two black players named to the U.S. World Cup squad. His passion, dedication, and unwavering spirit continue to guide and inspire us daily at Jimmy Banks Academy. His influence lives on in the lives he touched and the game he loved. His legacy is everlasting.⚽
