We’re so excited to partner with Zócalo Food Park () this year to bring our beautiful community altar to life in celebration of Día de los Mu***os! 🧡💐🕯️

Join us on Sunday, November 1, from 12–5 PM for a beautiful day honoring our loved ones and celebrating the traditions that bring us together through music, art, culture, and community.

Meet the workshop facilitators joining us for our College & Career Connections Event! 💼✨

Students will participate in two interactive, 30-minute sessions designed to help them strengthen their professional presence and prepare for future career opportunities.

📈 Workshop #1: Build Your Professional Brand
Led by Melissa Zacaula and Mayra Alaniz

Melissa and Mayra will explore personal branding, professional headshots, networking tips, and the dos and don’ts of your personal social media presence. We couldn’t think of two better professionals to share their insight and help students present themselves with confidence!

📝 Workshop #2: Get Career Ready
Led by Vanessa Vasquez, Saúl López, Zaida Lange-Irisson, and Jim Stamatakos

These experienced professionals will help students strengthen their résumés and cover letters while providing guidance through mock interviews and interview preparation. They know what it takes to help candidates stand out when employers are reviewing thousands of applications.

The Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation and Mexican Fiesta are proud to support the Hispanic Collaborative as they host SOMOS MÁS, a FREE Hispanic Heritage Month celebration bringing Milwaukee together through music, culture, food and community!
