It’s that time of year again: Running Rebels is now accepting donations for our H.E.L.P scholarship fund, which directly supports young people enrolled in a post-secondary institution🎓

Make a donation in memory of Keyon Jackson-Malone, who was a Milwaukee radio personality and a powerful voice for our community. Keyon was also deeply dedicated to the people of Atkinson Park, whether he was mentoring young people or providing food/basic necessities to community residents.

HELP (Higher Education & Learning Program) scholarships are awarded to young people in our community enrolled in a post-secondary education who have demonstrated qualities of leadership, integrity, ambition, and unity.

The overall program supports community youth throughout their post-secondary career, equipping them with essential life skills, providing ongoing case management, and awarding financial assistance.

Stay tuned for our other opportunities to donate in honor of specific individuals and entities who have been instrumental in leading and serving our community!

Make a donation to our HELP scholarship fund in memory of Willie “Baylou” Mitchell and Darin Ware🎓🖤 Both were known for their dedication to Milwaukee’s basketball community.

Known in Milwaukee as Mr. Basketball, Baylou devoted his life to mentoring and uplifting young people. He was involved with the Warning basketball league for over 40 years, playing on its teams but also coaching and serving for a time as its Director.

Darin was a beloved longtime employee of Running Rebels and was very well-known for his investment in Milwaukee basketball, including his work as a basketball historian and his role in the Warning league.
