Thank you to Life at Marsh McLennan Agency for preparing and donating 50 hygiene bags for participants in our Emergency Food Pantry! We are grateful for the opportunity to share more about our mission and engage in this donation packing event at the lunch and learn at their Brookfield office yesterday!

Pulaski High School Violence Free Zone students got to celebrate the school year drawing to a close at Butler Skateland this past week. Students were able to enjoy time with positive mentors through Violence Free Zone and connect positively with their peers.

Today is Thank a Youth Worker Day, and we want to recognize the incredible individuals who show up every day for young people in our community!

From our Violence Free Zone and Forest Home Avenue Safe Place teams, to MCC YouthBuild staff supporting young adults ages 18–24, to the dedicated volunteer coaches at Mcc boxing club — thank you for the guidance, encouragement, patience, and consistency you bring to the lives of youth across Milwaukee.

The impact you make often happens in moments that don’t always get seen: building trust, creating safe spaces, offering support, and helping young people see what’s possible for their future. Our community is stronger because of you.

Today and every day, we celebrate our youth workers. 💙

Our Violence Free Zone (VFZ) schools showed up in a powerful way for Denim Day 💙

Students at Bay View High School, Bradley Tech, Pulaski High School, James Madison Academic Campus, and South Division High School each created their own meaningful ways to observe the day and raise awareness around domestic violence. From planning activities to sparking conversations, students took true ownership—using their voices to stand up for respect, safety, and support in their communities.

We’re incredibly proud of the leadership and thoughtfulness our students demonstrated. This is what building a violence-free future looks like. 💛
