🌱💚 Despite the challenges, we keep growing. 💚🌱

The wildfire smoke and hot, dry weather have certainly tested our garden this season, but they haven’t slowed our determination. Every day we’re out watering, caring for our plants, and working hard to grow fresh produce for our community.

Harmony officially opened our Small Pantry, stocked with homemade goods, fresh garden produce, and non-perishable items for anyone who may need them.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for some much-needed rain to give the garden a boost, but no matter the weather, we’ll continue growing, giving, and serving our community—one harvest at a time.

Thank you to everyone who supports Harmony’s Heart of WI. Together, we’re growing more than a garden—we’re growing hope. 🌎❤️🌿

🌱 The Garden is Looking Beautiful! 💚☀️

What a difference a few weeks can make! 🌸🌿

This weekend, our community garden is full of life. The flowers are blooming, the vegetables are growing, and every bed is a reminder of what happens when a community comes together with love and purpose.

With the hot temperatures in the forecast this week, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the garden. Our volunteers will be there every day, watering, caring for the plants, and doing everything we can to help them thrive through the heat. 💧🌱

Here’s to healthy plants, sunny days, and another week of growing together. 💚🌻

🍓🐝 Our Little Bee Keeper Gnome Has Been Busy! 🐝🍓

It looks like our favorite little bee keeper gnome has been hard at work… and thanks to all of our buzzing pollinator friends, we were blessed with our very first strawberry harvest! ❤️🍓

There’s something so special about picking fresh strawberries straight from the garden. Every berry is a reminder that when we care for nature, nature gives back in the sweetest ways. From tiny bees to cheerful garden gnomes (or at least we like to think they’re helping 😉), every little part plays a role.

Here’s to many more baskets of fresh strawberries and another season of growing hope, one harvest at a time. 🌱💚

🌱💚 The gardens are taking off, and we couldn’t be more excited! 💚🌱

Every day brings new growth, new blooms, and the promise of a beautiful harvest ahead. There is something so special about watching tiny seeds turn into fresh, healthy food that will nourish our community.

We’re looking forward to another season of delicious produce grown with love and care. 🍅🥒🌽🥬
Thank you to everyone who continues to volunteer, donated and still donates, shared plants, and cheer us on. Your support is helping us grow more than vegetables—we’re growing hope, health, and community.

The best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to share the harvest with all of you! 🌻

💚 COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED 💚

One of our dreams this year is to host a neighborhood block party right here near 58th & Chambers—a celebration of community, diversity, and inclusion where neighbors can come together, connect, and enjoy one another.

We had hoped to obtain a block party permit ourselves. Unfortunately, we have been advised by the Alderperson that while Harmony’s Heart of WI is proud to serve and invest in this neighborhood, we are not technically residents and therefore are unable to secure the permit.

While this news was disappointing, it certainly hasn’t stopped our desire to bring people together! We are committed to finding a way to celebrate the amazing community that surrounds us.

If you live on the 2900 or 3000 block of North 58th Street and would be willing to help us make this vision a reality, we would love to connect with you. Please send us a direct message.

Together, we can create something special—a day filled with fellowship, fun, and community pride.

🌿 Because when we come together, we grow stronger.
