🏁 CAMP WITH CAM IS COMING!

We’re giving our Sliders an entire weekend to learn from AFT SuperTwins racer Cameron Smith.

We’re getting into the good stuff: sliding, passing, clutch and friction zone control, throttle use, body positioning, speed control, cornering, racecraft and more.

This is concentrated seat time with a professional racer who can help our kids understand not only what to do on the motorcycle, but why and when to do it.

Two days. Lots of riding. Lots of learning.

Camp with Cam. Let’s work. 🔥🏁

Control first. Speed comes later. 🏁

We can’t stress enough how important it is for our Sliders to truly learn how to control the motorcycle.

Every lap is teaching them more than throttle and brakes. They’re learning to stay focused, trust themselves, make decisions in seconds, adjust when something doesn’t feel right, and keep their composure when things get challenging.

That takes mental fortitude, confidence and courage and those are skills worth practicing over and over again.

We’re not rushing the process. We’re building capable riders who can think, react and make good decisions when it counts.

Practice. Trust. Control. Repeat. 🏍️💨

Elbows up! 🏁

Sliders have been putting in work with at Wisconsin Off Road Adventures, dialing in their form, body positioning and bike control.

While we work through bike repairs and transitions, the learning doesn’t stop. Neither does the seat time.

Still practicing. Still stoked. Still engaged. Still growing.

Because sometimes progress isn’t about going faster, it’s about getting the fundamentals right so you’re ready when it’s time to send it. 💪🏾🏁

Great things are happening with Sliders! 🏍️

Yesterday was another reminder of what’s possible when a community believes in its young people. Having the support of our City and leaders who see the value in what we’re building is truly a privilege.

Every partnership. Every motorcycle. Every practice. Every new opportunity. Each step brings us closer to the bigger vision, creating access, building skills, opening doors, and helping our young people dream beyond what they can currently see.

The motorcycles we picked up yesterday are more than equipment. They represent new lessons, new skills, new possibilities, and another investment in the next generation.

This has always been about our young people. Give them the tools. Give them the village. Give them the opportunity and watch what they build.

We’re just getting started. 🏁

🏍️ THIS IS A GAME CHANGER FOR OUR YOUTH!

Today was more than a press conference. We watched a partnership turn into action. Potential turned to purpose.

Alongside Common Council President Alderman José G. Pérez, Ald. Russell W. Stamper II, DiAndre Jackson for Alderman, and Peter Knox of the DPW Milwaukee, BikerFest Mke shared with the media what this new partnership will mean for Milwaukee youth.

And then came the best part… we picked up our first load of motorcycles.

Some of our Sliders and their parents were there with our Executive Director, Venisha Simpson and Program Facilitator, Lavell Mabato to witness it firsthand. These motorcycles will become hands-on learning tools, giving our youth opportunities to tear down, diagnose, repair, rebuild, create, and learn alongside experienced mechanics, builders, and mentors.

For us, this is bigger than motorcycles. It’s access. It’s STEM. It’s skilled trades. It’s mentorship. It’s showing a young person that there are different ways to learn and different paths to a future they may have never considered.

We’re grateful to the City of Milwaukee and everyone who believed enough in what we’re building to help turn an idea into an opportunity.

Now, it’s time to get to work. 🔧🏍️

We extend our sincere thanks to the City of Milwaukee Common Council, Council President Alderman José G. Pérez, DiAndre Jackson for Alderman, Alderman Russell Stamper for their co-sponsorship and support, along with the DPW Milwaukee, and EYAAC, for recognizing the value of investing in Milwaukee’s young people.

This opportunity will give our youth participants greater access to hands-on learning, working alongside experienced professionals to develop skills in motorcycle mechanics, repair, engineering, problem-solving and the skilled trades. More importantly, it gives them something to build, something to work toward, and another opportunity to discover what they’re capable of.

🎉🏁 Happy Birthday, Justice! 🏁🎉

Justice has been a Slider since the very beginning, and watching his journey has been something special.

He started with no bicycle experience and had to take his time finding his footing. Now? He’s on the dirt bikes learning clutch control and picking it up! That’s what progress looks like—your starting point doesn’t determine how far you can go.

And this young man stays BUSY! Between volunteering, singing, playing piano, learning karate and everything else he has going on, somehow there’s always room for a little Flat Track. 😂🏁

We’re proud of you, Justice, and we can’t wait to see you line up for your first official race next season!

Another full weekend for ! ⚡🏁

Friday, our young riders spent the day at Northcott Neighborhood House’s Harambee Back-to-School Block Party, helping local youth experience e-bikes for the first time.

They fitted riders with safety gear, taught the basics, encouraged nervous first-timers, and shared what they’ve learned through the Sliders program. And they had a GREAT time doing it.

This is why we love community outreach. Our kids aren’t just gaining skills, they’re learning how to use what they know to help someone else. That’s leadership in action.

Watching the Sliders step up, take responsibility, and become the ones doing the teaching hits different.

What a weekend for the . 🏁

From our Spark Session with Randy “Detroit” Hayward at the Harley-Davidson Museum to yesterday’s riding instructional with Loyal Prach, our young riders were surrounded by people willing to invest their time, knowledge, and experience in the next generation.

What these mentors give our kids goes so far beyond riding. They challenge the way they think, build their confidence, expand what’s possible, and inspire them to carry themselves differently. That’s the kind of investment that lasts a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you to Detroit Randy, Daniel Sandoval, and Loyal for believing in our youth and sharing your passion so generously.

We’re also incredibly grateful to NWT CYCLETRONIC for providing the amazing camera equipment that’s allowing us to capture these moments and tell the stories of our riders. Contributions like yours help our program continue to grow and inspire others.

Stay tuned as we begin sharing the individual journeys of our Sliders. Their stories are filled with grit, growth, and determination, and they’re just getting started. 💙🏁

That’s what today was all about.

Today was an opportunity for our Sliders to sit with people who have spent years racing, building, and thriving in the motorcycle world, and who chose to pour their wisdom into the next generation.

That’s how stronger communities are built. One conversation. One lesson. One young person at a time.

We’re incredibly grateful for supporters like Detroit Randy, and Daniel Sandoval, and everyone who believes in this growing program. Your willingness to share your time, your experience, and your passion is inspiring the next generation to dream bigger and ride with purpose.
