Taylor Whiting Earns National Wrestling HOF Recognition
Congratulations to Taylor Whiting, who has been named the Midwest Regional Winner of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award — one of just five regional winners selected from across the country.
The national winner will be announced April 28. Taylor is a finalist.
Taylor Whiting of Lena High School closed out her prep career in historic fashion — becoming Wisconsin's first-ever four-time female state champion with a career record of 69-1. She and her brother Clayton are believed to be the first brother-sister pair in the country to each win four state wrestling titles.
