Thank you to all the parents who joined the first session of Parent Cafe Series V !

Together, we shared honest conversations about raising happy children in two cultures, understanding our own needs as parents, finding support, and building connections with one another.

It was inspiring to see parents come together to listen, learn, and remind each other that no one has to navigate this journey alone. Thank you for creating such a warm and supportive space. We can’t wait to continue growing together in the next sessions!

🎓 Apply for the ICAN Inspire Scholarship!

ICAN is now accepting applications for the ICAN Inspire Scholarship to support undergraduate students of Vietnamese descent who are pursuing higher education.

Scholarship awards include:
✨ $1,000 per year for 4-year university students
✨ $500 per year for community college students

Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and be residents of Santa Clara, Alameda, or San Joaquin counties.

Calling all 2nd generation Vietnamese Americans!

ICAN is collecting oral history stories to document the experiences, identity, language, and cultural conflicts of Vietnamese Americans raised in the Bay Area.

Participants must be born in the U.S., raised in the Bay Area, and born between 1975–2005. Participation includes one casual 1-hour interview, either in person or through Zoom. Your privacy will be respected, and pseudonyms can be used for confidentiality.

Help us preserve and uplift 2nd generation Vietnamese American stories for future generations.

ICAN xin chân thành cảm ơn quý phụ huynh đã dành thời gian tham dự chương trình SEEDS – Phát triển ngôn ngữ cho trẻ. Sự hiện diện và đồng hành của ba mẹ, ông bà chính là nguồn động lực lớn để chúng tôi tiếp tục mang đến những hoạt động ý nghĩa, hỗ trợ các trẻ phát triển ngôn ngữ, cảm xúc và tự tin khám phá thế giới. Hy vọng sẽ tiếp tục được gặp lại gia đình trong những chương trình tiếp theo 🌱
