The Milltown Environmental Commission is seeking two new volunteers for this important citizen volunteer board. We advise the Boro Council on environmental issues, grow and maintain a public pollinator garden, and organize annual Earth Day celebrations at Mill Pond Park. Come join us by filling a citizen leadership form on the Boro website. Monthly meetings are held on zoom and all are welcome.

Middlesex County offers convenient, safe paint disposal through our Residential Paint Drop Off Program.

Here are the October drop-off dates and locations:

We had a very successful cleanup on June 1. The pile that volunteers Laura and Victoria are standing by was about a fifth of what we cleaned up! A lot was accomplished in just 2 hours, including digging out and lining a drainage ditch.

July 22, 9 am- 11 am is our next cleanup day. Please join us to help beautify our community pollinator garden.

Reminder: Bring shovels, tree loppers, weedwhackers, and work gloves. DPW is providing us with TYVEK suits for anyone concerned about poison ivy, but we are spraying it weekly to clear the area of that pest.
