Water For Nations

Part 2 of Tuesday
* The team was able to do home visits today and pray over the families
These are the families that will benefit from this water well that we are drilling , most of these women and girls walk up to 7 miles one way to collect water
The team blessed each family with sugar, ugali flour, and tea leaves
We were educated of how the women are not only responsible for gathering water but are responsible for building the mud/cow dung houses

*The team was also able to visit a school that has around 200 students
We were able to share a bible story and music time with the students
The school was also blessed with soccer balls and some other fun items

* The team also got to shop at a real Maasai market out in the bush

* And then we were welcomed by the zebra, giraffe and gazells as we were driving out of the community

Part 1
Today started with the team visiting the water well that My Father's Vineyard sponsored last year.
What a blessing to see how water has changed this small community
Over 300 trees where planted and to see them growing strong was amazing
The teachers testified of how the students had improved sincw having clean water - less sickness and healthier because they now can grow crops to havw food
We praise the Lord for the orovision in this community

The team arrived at the drilling site this afternoon and they were met in the most welcoming way

Every team member was given a special gift from the community
THEIR gratitude was overwhelming

We were able to spend some time with the Maasai worshipping and our sister Tranessa Gold shared a beautiful , encouraging word to the congregation
Afterwards the Maasai community served the team a meal : roasted goat meat potatoes , rice and chapati

We all left with full hearts!

Lord thank you for allowing us to be an answer to prayers. I pray that the water that's given to this hospital blesses them for generations. Amen.
