Phone Volunteer

• Can you share an interest of yours that is outside of volunteering?
I love walking Bluetick Coonhound!

• How has volunteering had a positive impact on you (emotionally, personally, etc.)?
It provides an opportunity to connect with lots of people in our community. It has helped me learn about the services and connections that our community office provides.

• Can you share a particularly meaningful moment or story from your time volunteering?
It gives me an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. When people call, they are sometimes having a good day and sometimes a bad day. So I try to be a listening ear no matter how they are doing, and hopefully bless them and help them be in a better place by the end of the
Call.

• What is the impact you hope to make through your volunteering?
I hope when people call in, they feel loved and cared for by someone!

We pray for Faith Lutheran Church. Lord, bless the pastors, ministry leaders, and volunteers with wisdom, strength, and an unwavering passion for Your Word. Fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit as they preach the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve those in need. Grant them unity of purpose and a deep love for one another.
