Did you hear the news? Our very own General Manager of The Tomahawk Shop, Cody Rice, was selected as not only the Marketing Pathway Student of the Year but also the overall (and inaugural!) .collegeandcareeracad CTAE Student of the Year for his outstanding performance in his Marketing and Management course in the Fall and overall involvement in this year. We couldn’t be more proud to celebrate this achievement with him!

We also send special applause to the other candidates who won their respective pathway awards. 🏆 BCCA has some of the best students around!

From community service to fun meeting themes and competition prep, our officers have started all the plans to prepare you to be the in DECA.

Our Spring 2026 ESBES ceremony took place today to celebrate the work of our Tomahawk Shop staff from this semester! 🏆 The ESBES, a play on the ESPES, honors Excellent School-Based Enterprise Students and their hard work. These awards are voted on by their “coworkers” and include a special section for write-ins.

At the end of the tallying, every student involved in The Tomahawk Shop this semester received a vote or two (or more). Our CEO (Ms. Grebel) is extremely proud of all of these students for their selections, nominations, and for meeting their semester sales goal! 🎉

Relocating for testing couldn’t stop our sweet Marketing Advisory Board Member, Angela Criscoe, from stopping by to give our students (and Mrs. Dever’s class) some wonderful wisdom on leadership and saying “Yes!” to new opportunities.

We learned that all leaders are born (because all humans are) but great leaders are made as we tackle things that may scare or challenge us. We also learned five fabulous guiding principles alongside so much more!
