‼️This post is a sad road update. Directly at the mouth of the holler on your right on the way up is a dead black bear. I don’t if someone hit it or it was attacked by other animals. Please be safe in that area. ‼️‼️ it’s graphic if you see it. So id redirect or cover little ones eyes‼️

‼️ hey neighbors! I know this has a been crazy turn of events! But this snow is a very heavy wet snow! We have a tree down and I hope some of our wonderful neighbors was able to get the tree cut up and removed! Please be safe if you have to be out and about and let’s hope we see those 80 degree days very soon!

‼️ One of our neighbors headed out for work this morning and said our holler was pretty slick. So if you have to go out please be careful. And please feel free to keep the page updated about road conditions if you have to travel out today! Be safe and stay warm!

‼️ Hey neighbors! Looks like we are in for another rough snow/winter storm! I know we are over the snow or at least I am. Driving home from work has been dangerous lately. But I just wanted to send out the notice from officials and to add I hope everyone stays warm and safe! ‼️

‼️ Hey neighbors! Wymt is reporting that the police, rescue teams, county workers and state government is strongly encouraging people to stay home. Whatever rain we got today and whatever melted off has refrozen and on top of the ice the snow is clinging to. So if you do have to be please be extremely careful. Also, the more snow we get increases our chance of power outages. So please make sure your devises are charged, have plenty of warm blankets if you don’t have a gas or wood fireplace, make sure your outside animals are able to get out of the cold and please be a good neighbor and check on our elderly neighbors. Just an extra word of advise if you don’t have a heat source grills and burn barrels are extremely dangerous.

Also if you have any snow day pictures please add them to the page! Some people love to see the pictures! Be safe and stay safe warm! ‼️

‼️‼️ I’m so sorry neighbors I haven’t done very well at keeping everyone updated or trying to put useful information out there. Between work and sick family member it’s been a time. But, I just got home from work and I live almost to the head of our winter wonderland holler. And please don’t be out if you don’t have too. After 20 years up here I have never spun out and worried I might wreak on snowy roads but today it happened! It’s super slick and moved in faster than our weather man said. So, I hope you’re ready and prepared for every possible challenge. Please be safe, stay warm and take care of your outside animals! They’ve already declared it a state of emergency! Emergency or emergency personnel only is being pushed by officials. So if you have to be out please be careful! ‼️
