๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿบ Senior Class Honors Outstanding Staff Members ๐Ÿบ๐ŸŽ“

Each year, our seniors have the opportunity to recognize the educators and staff members who have made a lasting impact on their lives. This year, they selected Rose Madera de Farruya as their Teacher of the Year and dedicated the yearbook to Teacher Assistant Thomas Winslow.

The seniors chose Rose because she consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every student had complete access to language. They spoke of her compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to students throughout the years, qualities that truly make her shine.

The Class of 2026 dedicated their yearbook to Thomas Winslow, sharing that they hope he feels as valued by them as they have always felt by him. They wanted him to be able to look back on this dedication and remember the profound impact he has had on their lives. They also noted that his sense of humor, memorable jokes, and positive personality will be greatly missed.

Congratulations to both of these well-deserving honorees. Thank you for your endless dedication, support, and commitment to our students. We are proud of our seniors for making such thoughtful and heartfelt selections.

For what may be the first time in our history, we have two Valedictorians! These students represent the best and the brightest of this yearโ€™s graduating class. Nicole Cornejo and Matthew Flanagan have participated in athletics, extra curricular activities as well as held offices in Student Body Government. They both attend BOCES programs which have set them on their paths for future careers. Nicole will be attending Stony Brook University and Matthew will be going to Farmingdale State College. Congratulations!

From student to role model ๐Ÿ’™

Dylan attended MN from PIP through kindergarten, and now he returns each year to read to our preschool classes. As a child with hearing loss, he remembers the impact MN had on his journey, and hopes to inspire the next generation by giving back.
He is a powerful reminder of the lasting difference Mill Neck makes in the lives of its students.
