With proceeds from our March Madness and Turkey Shootout contests, we were able to contribute to the local Toys for Tots drive organized by Kelly Taulbee and the Fish Lake Conservation Club 💝

Kelly shops year round to find the best deals, maximizing the number of gifts he can purchase with the donations 🌟

Mill Creek Community Lions. Club Meeting
Location: Fish Lake. Library
Call to order: 5:36 PM
Members present: Ashley Kosowski,, Sherry Evenburg, Emily Howard, Barb Berby, Ron Thomas, Mike. Berby, Mary Pinette, McKail Pinette.
Pledge and Prayer

Minutes- sent out previously, approved.

Treasurers report- Emily created a. Spreadsheet to show Mill Creek Lions Project Fund breakdown. She will create a new checking account for Lions Paws/Paddlefest funds. Lion Emily made motion, Lion Mike seconded. approved.

Budget- Sherry, Barb, and Emily went over the budget and created a spreadsheet, which will be sent later. Ashley will look. Into Arby’s giveback and other givebacks. Lion Sherry asked about tax exempt status and if we are up. To date with IRS forms. Lion Emily explained that we are. Emily will continue to be that way. Ashley makes a motion. Barb seconds. Approved.

New Business:

Lion Tom. Not present, Barb let everyone know that Kristi, McKail, and Bill said it was good. Tom has shared info for 11/9/24 Community Wellness Check at library.

Facebook was hacked, so we will make a new one and everyone will please need to share the new page.

11/30/24- Shoot out at Indian Trail Registration at 9, starts at 10. Patrick Spence will be in charge.

Fish Creek Trail- will update everyone as we get more info.

Indian Trail Donation- IT School posted photo of Sherry and Mike. They appreciated the donation of $2,000 and dictionaries to all 3rd grade students.

Mike got the donations for corn bread and cookies. Legion is also hosting. Trunk. Or Treat that day.

Shoot Out
11/30 9 AM/10 Am. Patrick Spence. Will be in charge. Indian Trail will send out a reminder to students.

Mill Creek Pantry- Mike has a guy who can fix it. We are still donating every month.

Volunteer Hours- Ashley needs to update.
