Now, I owe all you cat lovers an apology! 😹We didn’t receive as many donations for our cat basket, so in honor of our SIXTH ANNIVERSARY, we’re giving our cat lovers a little extra discount! We love our feline friends just as much and we want everyone to have a chance to join in the fun!

Jet is gorgeous!
He is stressed at the shelter and needs a break but we can’t help him unless we have a foster.

He doesn’t react well to dogs at the shelter but volunteers have taken him to the park on three different occasions with another dog and they walk well together. This is common. There were many dogs I knew at the shelter who were “reactive” in that environment but went on to live with another dog after they got out and decompressed. It is very, very stressful in a shelter environment. They feel like they are trapped and going to be attacked every day.

Jet is around 50 Lbs. Easy to walk. Deserving of a chance. Help us help Jet.

Let me introduce you to Oats!
He’s in foster now after spending a lot of time at Cincinnati Animal Care. His foster asked if we could help get him some exposure.

New things we have learned:
- dog friendly!
- kid friendly!
- NOT cat friendly (from what I’ve seen)
- very well crate trained
- easy to trim nails and good in bathtub
- overall low-ish energy when at home, he can just be energetic with other dogs and when on walks
- VERY high prey drive. He will be best suited to a home with a fenced in back yard that is at least a standard 4.5-5ish ft height. He is very springy and takes off like a rocket after squirrels. I would consider him a flight risk if he were to get loose and see something of interest. If a fenced in yard is not an option, he would need to always go out on a leash, as he does now. He would likely not be a good fit for an invisible fence. At this time, his recall and ability to break focus on what he’s chasing/intent on when his name is called is not great.

-completely non-destructive. I do not usually put him in his crate when I leave anymore and we have had zero problems. He sleeps the whole time.

Things we already knew:
- great in the car
- completely non-reactive with humans, great with both men and women.
- eats slowly and politely out of a regular bowl
- continues to take anxiety medicine from shelter anxiety but is in weaning process
- happy to hang out at coffee shops, study, etc.
- prefers to be with people but does not show any separation anxiety behaviors
- His leash manners are fine but need some polishing. He does pull when he sees a squirrel or other dogs. Sometimes it’s minor, other times he puts his whole weight into it. Focused training will improve this.

U*i is ready to be your best buckaru!

I know we have some senior loving followers out there who want a chill guy.

U*i has overcome some tough times including being emaciated and he’s bounced back. We had a lot of bloodwork done and he’s a healthy 10 year old.

Goose & Bubba got adopted…now it’s U*i’s turn.❤️🐾

💜 Queenie is looking for her forever home! 🐾

This sweet, smart and lovable girl is approximately 3–5 years old and has been patiently waiting since July for a family of her own. 🏡

Queenie does well in a small play group, especially with bigger male dogs, and may also do well with cats with proper introductions.
