Rescue Me Animal Advocacy Rescue Me Animal Advocacy (RMAA) is a foster-based 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to helping animals in need throughout Clermont County, Ohio.

🖤 WHY DON’T PEOPLE SEE OUR BLACK DOGS? 🖤

We have a serious question… why are our black dogs so often overlooked? 😔

Because the truth is, some of the most loving, loyal, wonderful dogs we have are BLACK. And yet they keep getting passed by.

Meet Queenie, Bubba & Doc. Three amazing dogs who just want what every dog deserves — a family to call their own.

🐾 Bubba & Queenie are stuck in boarding because we can’t even find them a foster home. They are waiting day after day, watching other dogs come and go, wondering when it will finally be their turn.

🐾 Doc has been in foster care for what feels like forever. He’s been there so long that he probably thinks this is it… this is where he’s going to spend the rest of his life. 💔 His foster mom loves him, but he deserves to know what it feels like to be chosen.

These dogs aren’t asking for much.

They want a comfy bed.
Someone to love them.
A family to play with.
Someone to tuck them in at night.
Someone who will look past the color of their fur and see the beautiful soul underneath. 🖤

Maybe black dogs don’t photograph as easily. Maybe they don’t stand out in a crowded feed. But please don’t let a little black fur make you scroll past a dog who could be your best friend, your shadow, your couch buddy, your heart dog.

BLACK DOGS DESERVE HOMES TOO. 🖤

Bash & Maggie were both adopted from RMAA and, even better, they found their forever homes with the same family, different houses! 🥰
So you can imagine how much we LOVE seeing pictures of these two enjoying play dates together! 🐶🐶❤️

There’s just something extra special about watching dogs we once worried about now living their best lives, surrounded by love.

Seeing happy, loved, spoiled RMAA alumni together is the BEST!

Can we please get this adorable little guy out of boarding??

We rescued Bubba & his two siblings a few weeks ago and he’s still in boarding. It’s hard to believe such a friendly little guy isn’t in a foster home. He’s the only one of the three who didn’t get a foster.

Bubba is 3 years old, 40 lbs and very friendly!

Barry was declining in the shelter environment when we pulled him from Cincinnati Animal Care on April 4th.

Dogs barking was a trigger…probably because he was scared to death there.

We have been trying to place him in a dog-free home, but look at all the progress he’s making with one of his foster sibs!

We’re so proud of you Barry! You’re the cutest little guy who is going to make someone a very good companion.❤️

Barry likes to follow you around and be outside as much as possible. A fenced yard would be best for him.

He’s about 2 years old and 22ish lbs. Jack Russell mix. Neutered and UTD.

We have the solution… ADOPT HARVEY! 🐶❤️
Harvey has perfected the art of draping himself completely over his favorite person. Once he’s settled in, you’re basically not allowed to move. 😂
Need to do the dishes? Nope.�Laundry? Sorry, can’t.�Vacuum the house? Absolutely not.�Get up to do literally anything? Harvey is sleeping. You can’t disturb him! 🥰
And honestly, once this adorable boy is laying on top of you, nobody else is going to want you to move either because LOOK AT THAT FACE! 😍
Harvey LOVES being on top of his person. He is sweet, cuddly, ridiculously adorable, and apparently very committed to making sure you take plenty of time to relax. ❤️
So if you’ve been looking for a legitimate reason to avoid housework… Harvey is your guy! 😂
