Petrol prices might be rising these days, but one thing that never changes is Sheen’s dedication. With staff supervision, she confidently helps fuel up our van, making sure we can head out, enjoy our activities, and continue serving our community.

Thanks to her support, we’re able to keep delivering Meals on Wheels and helping with Forest Hill gardening—simple acts that make a big difference. Another proud moment for our New Dawn whānau.

Adult Group Swimming Fun at Albany Pools
Our Adult Group enjoyed a refreshing swimming session at Albany Pools, making the most of the last warm days of the season. The smiles said it all—everyone had a wonderful time relaxing, moving, and enjoying the water.

Krystal had an amazing time in the pool, and Ariane and Seong Jun also enjoyed the activity with great enthusiasm. A beautiful day of connection, confidence, and wellbeing for our New Dawn whānau.

Our Youth Group spent the day exploring the art gallery, searching for inspiration through the incredible paintings created by talented artists. Each artwork sparked new ideas, emotions, and conversations, helping our young people connect with creativity in a deeper way.

The library has become our quiet, calm space to slow down, reflect, and express our creative selves. It’s where ideas flow, confidence grows, and our community feels at home.

Youth Group Highlight
Our Youth Group had an amazing day delivering meals to our elderly community through the Red Cross. They showed teamwork, kindness, and genuine joy while supporting such a meaningful cause. It was a proud moment for New Dawn—seeing our young people give back and make a real difference.
