So far this spring, the TCC Foundation’s most significant completed project has been the installation of the new floating stinger irrigation system. Thanks to a generous donation from Bill Mitchell and Mitchell Golf, funding from Stockman Bank, and a partnership with the Country Club Estates HOA, the new floating stinger and crane system was successfully installed in the river by Agri Industries.
This upgraded system helps reduce the amount of sediment entering the irrigation lines and holding pond, improving overall efficiency and reducing maintenance needs. It also eliminates the need to repeatedly reposition the intake throughout the summer as river levels fluctuate, creating a more reliable and sustainable irrigation system for the golf course and surrounding green spaces.
