Happy Monday!! 🍈

First, thank you to everyone who came out to join us for the Melon Festivities! Each year is an opportunity to bring people from near and far together for a time of joy, community, and, of course, Melon Ice Cream!

As you may have seen, we tried some new things this year. Our hope and goal is to continue growing and building upon the legacy and traditions we hold here in Milan.

This festival is a wonderful reminder of how one small town can make an impact far beyond our own community. With that in mind, we truly value your constructive feedback on the event and the changes we continue to explore.

If you have thoughts, ideas, or suggestions, please feel free to message us or leave a comment. We will take that feedback to our committee meeting and use it as an opportunity to pivot where needed, continue to innovate, and help shape the vision for future festivals. After all, it was innovation and vision that brought light into the darkness. 💡

Thank you again to everyone who continues to support our community and this wonderful tradition. It is an honor and a privilege to serve our community in this capacity. ❤️

Another year of lighting up the streets of Milan in the Milan Melon Festival race. Endurance, strength, and perseverance all key traits of these runners. They truly are overcomers !! They left their mark here in Milan. May they log many miles between now and when we meet again.

As the sun went down in Milan, the last trailers pulled out of the square marking the end of our 69th Milan Melon Festival. We hope you enjoyed all we had to offer. We have read your comments; listened to your advice and will continue to do our best for the village of Milan. Thank you each and every person who supports our festival. The many volunteers, vendors, sponsors, patrons and guests we couldn’t do it without you. See you in 2027 for our 70th! 🍉❤️
