We want to help single mamas (or papas) going through breast cancer! Finances should NOT be something they are worrying about during such an emotional and physical struggle.

- currently in treatment, or within 12 months of completing treatment

Pink Anchor Project exists to help single moms in Michigan facing breast cancer feel a little less alone.

We support moms who are currently in treatment or within 12 months of completing treatment by helping with essential household and medical-related expenses, so they can focus on healing and caring for their children.

When life feels overwhelming, we want to help create stability.

Looking back, emergency financial support would have been instrumental for us. 🙌

It would have helped cover the mortgage, utilities, and groceries.

More importantly, it would have created just enough breathing room for my brain and nervous system to exhale — and helped me be more present with my son. 🧘‍♀️

Sometimes stability changes everything.

I remember the moment clearly. 🫣

I withdrew the last $2,000 from my savings account to pay my mortgage and prayed that God would provide, because I was completely tapped out. 💸

That moment changed something in me.

I knew there had to be support for women carrying the weight of cancer treatment and an entire household at the same time.

That is why we created Pink Anchor Project.

As a single mom and the sole financial provider for my household, cancer was more than a health crisis. 😵‍💫

It meant navigating chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgeries, radiation, appointments, side effects, recovery, and still trying to keep life stable for my son. 🫩

For single mothers, life does not pause during treatment. 💊💉

The bills do not pause either. 💸

When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, I did not yet know what that diagnosis would mean for my life. 🤔

But I KNEW I was being called to do something meaningful in the breast cancer space. 🩷

Pink Anchor Project was born from my personal journey of surviving breast cancer twice as a single mom.
