The newly opened Matilda Health Clinic in Mifflintown, PA recently heard about our initiative and wanted to get involved in bringing a little extra comfort and joy to the pediatric patients they serve.

We were so happy to drop off some Jared Boxes for the clinic to share with children during their visits! 🧸📚🧩

And of course, we had to bring our favorite little helper along for the drop-off! 🥰 Ivy was there to welcome our helper, too! 💙

We’re incredibly grateful to the Matilda Health Clinic for supporting the Jared Box Project and helping us make sure that more local children have a little something to smile about during what can sometimes be a stressful visit.

With the recent increase in illness and pediatric hospital visits in our area, there’s an even greater need for comfort and distraction for children spending time in the hospital.

We’re collecting new toys and items to keep our Jared Boxes stocked and ready for kids of all ages.

If you have new toys, books, stuffed animals, or other items for Jared Boxes, there are a few ways to get them to us:

🏠 Drop-off: Message us for our local drop-off location.
🚗 Pick-up: We’re happy to arrange a pick-up from your home.
🤝 Meet-up: We can also arrange a convenient meet-up location.

No matter how you choose to donate, we appreciate you helping us bring comfort and a little joy to children spending time in the hospital. 💚

We’ve had so many amazing people collecting toys to donate to the Jared Box Project! We wanted to share our suggested toy list to make shopping a little easier.

The list below has ideas for all age groups, from infants through teens. Please keep in mind that all items should be new and small enough to fit in a plastic shoe box.

Recently, Geisinger Lewistown Hospital let us know they were in need of Jared Boxes for toddlers, preschoolers, tweens, and teens. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to put together and deliver 30 Jared Boxes to help meet that need. ❤️📦

Every box is filled with comfort, distractions, and a little bit of joy for a child facing a hospital stay. Knowing these boxes will brighten someone’s day is exactly why we do what we do.

While we’ve been a little MIA online these past few months, we’ve still been working behind the scenes, and we’re excited to continue serving the children in our community.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Jared Box Project of Juniata County. Whether you’ve donated toys, made a monetary contribution, shared our mission, or encouraged us along the way, you’ve helped make moments like this possible.
