This Thursday night, Oip Mifflinburg is generously donating 10% of all orders to support Maverick Resseguie as he continues his cancer treatments. 💜

💜 THANK YOU 💜

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who supported last Saturday’s Chicken BBQ fundraiser for Maverick. Whether you bought a meal, donated supplies, baked, volunteered, or simply showed up — you made a difference.

Thanks to this amazing community, we raised just over $14,000 for the Maverick Resseguie Medical Fund — helping Maverick focus on his treatments and healing without the added stress of medical expenses.

Maverick has completed the first of three 21-day cycles of intense BEP chemotherapy. He is now taking a short break due to complications, including low white blood cell counts and painful mouth/throat ulcers — all side effects of the aggressive treatment. His doctors have recommended a week of rest and fluids to help his body recover before continuing.

Please keep Maverick and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He follows this page, so comments, encouragement, and maybe a giggle or two would live his spirits.

In some brighter news: during week two, Maverick felt well enough to go hunting — and got his first turkey! 🦃 A well-earned win and awesome to see him do something he loves.

We’ve got dessert! 🤤 Even if you didn’t order a meal, come out and enjoy some incredible baked goods today and support an awesome young man. All baked goods are available by donation. We will be here until 1pm!
