Subject: IOW St. Patrick’s Day Golf Cart Parade on Saturday, March 10th
Each year a Grand Marshal and Ms. Isle of Wight is named as part of the celebration. This year the Parade Committee is requesting your help by nominating a Lady and Gentleman. As you consider your nominations we ask that you take into account the following:
· Known for helping others, good Samaritans, stepping up to the plate without being asked, always there when you need them; people who make the community a better place.
· Resident of Isle of Wight
· May be a couple but not mandatory
· Can’t be individuals who have previously been selected (Lori Parks, Rhonda Brant, Janet Welch, Gwen Parker, Susan Yawn, Lora Carter, Dee Bargeron, Vesta Welch, Josh Rogers, Buster Davis, Paul Parker, Greg Yawn, Danny Brant, Alan Harwood, Jimmy Bargeron)
· Keep in mind that the person must be present at the parade to ultimately be selected as the Grand Marshal and Ms. Isle of Wight

We know we won’t reach everybody in the community but hopefully enough residents will respond for a great selection of nominees. What a great way to recognize and thank residents of our community.
· Submit your nominations by email to Boomer (Janet Welch) at ([email protected]), call/text (667-3280) by 3/2/18 which is the deadline. The parade committee will then tabulate the nominations. Announcement will be made Saturday, March 10th.
