🌟 Jumpstart Midland Summer Planning Retreat – Day 2 🌟

Today we focused on forward planning at a high level, taking time to look beyond the day-to-day and align around the future we are building together.

What stood out most was the shared commitment around the table. Every conversation centered on one question:

“How do we create lasting change for Midland children and families?”

As we look ahead, we are reminded that strong organizations don’t happen by accident, they are built through intentional planning, collaboration, and a clear vision.

Thankful for a team that is willing to dream big, ask hard questions, and stay focused on the mission.

Day 1 of the Jumpstart Midland Summer planning Retreat, in the books ☀️

Today was all about reflection, learning, and looking ahead. As a team, we took time to celebrate our wins, reflect on lessons learned, and dream about what’s next for Jumpstart Midland and the families we serve.

Through honest conversations, sticky notes, shared ideas, and plenty of collaboration, we were reminded that our greatest strength is the people around the table. Every voice matters, and every team member plays a role in helping us move our mission forward.

As we continue this retreat, we are focused on growing stronger, working smarter, and staying committed to ensuring every child in Midland has access to the high-quality education they deserve.

Our community deserves to understand the decisions being made that impact our children’s education. Join us as we monitor key agenda items from the upcoming MISD School Board Meeting, including preliminary STAAR performance results and the district budget.
