A little Brave Bag update!

As of today, you can find Brave Bags at Morgan Township Fire and Hamilton Fire!

We’re SO excited to see these bags making their way into the hands of the people who need them and, even more, to hear the stories from the communities using them.

We’re so thankful for the departments who believe in this mission and continue to partner with us to make it happen. This is exactly why we do what we do.

And we’re just getting started!

A little behind-the-scenes look at the restock bins!!

Keeping these stocked means being able to show up when someone needs a little extra support. Every item that makes its way into these bins has a purpose, and it truly takes a community to keep them going.

If you’ve ever wondered how you can support what we’re doing, contributing an item (or a few!) to help replenish the bins is always appreciated. (We even take gently used fidgets and stuffies!)

Every little bit helps us continue creating a space where people can find what they need, when they need it.

I saw a video recently of police officers in Salt Lake City interacting with an autistic child in crisis, and honestly, it was just really beautiful to watch.

They were patient. They gave him space. They met him where he was instead of expecting him to meet them where they were.

And it reminded me why Lionheart means so much to me, and why I do what I do.

I know not every situation will look like this. But I want more first responders to feel prepared for these moments — to understand what they're seeing, to recognize when behavior is communication, and to know how to help a child feel safe.

That’s why I started this.

Because sometimes, the smallest change in how we respond can make a really big difference. Everyone deserves to feel safe and to have a voice.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to Chick-fil-A to support The Lionheart Collective! Whether you came to hang out, grabbed dinner, shared the post, or helped spread the word — THANK YOU. It seriously means so much to me.

I don’t have our fundraising total yet, but Chick-fil-A will have that number for me within the next couple of weeks, so I’ll definitely share it once I know!

It’s honestly so cool seeing people show up for something that started as just a little idea and has grown into something that is helping real kids and first responders in our community.

I'm so thankful to all of you who keep showing up for our mission!!
